I check in here most days... but it's usually pretty quiet. Unlike things at OUR house with Amber who turned 8 months old today!

Yes. And interesting is hardly the word for it!
Re: So...where is everyone?
I was asked to leave early from work Saturday. My bosses say they are concerned that Im not being the old ward. Moving slowly and they said I almost got hit by a car which I dont recall.
I could use prayers.

You've got my prayers as well. "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, who are called according to his purpose. "

Things are looking up and I'm back at work. Thanks for your prayers and support.
hello
Hi, my name is Jim Bures, but you can call me "Z"
I am a Christian Cartoonist also, but not featured on cc(dot)com. I draw the comic strip "Toon in'" which you can google if you want to see it.
I've been checking out this site for a number of years. At times I was addicted daily and found many great comics to read. Unfortunately, I probably read them all while at work, so I don't know how good an idea that was. I liked Pastor Cooper, I think his name was, who once wrote about how he didn't know how a brown cow could eat green grass and produce white milk, but he still poured it on his corn puffs and ate them anyway.
One thing that kinda bugs me is how some of the cartoons don't even display, as if they have been discontinued but not deleted from the html code. Then, in other cases, cartoons are posted but haven't changed for years, like Ron Wheelers comic (is he okay?). Maintenance on these types of issues seems relatively easy so I am curious why it is not done.
I find it very interesting to see such a diverse group of work. One person is good with humor. Another is very good with the drawing and coloring. Another is a teacher. Everyone's style of drawing and writing is so different. It is very interesting to see. Like just today I read the cartoon about Jesus being a Sheriff and I thought, "Gee, I've never heard of Jesus portrayed like that before." It is so interesting to see how each Christian Cartoonist glorifies God so personally.
So, in short, keep up the good work. Continue to find and collect good art like you are doing. And keep up the maintenance.
Thanks & Love,
Jim Bures, Christian Cartoonist

just checking my login...
Hi,
Sorry, I guess I should have waited a few moments for my last post.
Thom was also a good cartoonist I liked to see. The Church of the Covered Dish was his comic strip. Boy, that was entertaining.
Love,
Jim
