Dare to Seek

Some of us dare to tell the truth,
some of us dare to seek.
But God only reveals what will suit,
those whose minds are meek.

If God told us what was true,
we still would not understand.
He has given vision to a select few,
but God's truth is as counting sand.

We all can hear his voice,
we all can listen to his call.
But then we have an important choice.
At his feet are we ready to fall?

We all must learn to preach his name.
And to talk about this path.
We should all walk on this same.
If we want immortality that only he hath.

When we do find his ways,
when we are converted.
We should let others see why we praise.
Our only tears will be shed with the disconcerted.

This is the life we should lead,
if we are to forever abide.
As we live we shall sow our seeds,
till the day we reap with pride.
